It is hidden until the "Circulation and fine rules test tool" button, below the rules matrix, is clicked. The tool uses the circulation_rules API endpoint (Bug 36641) to fetch the effective rules, that is the most specific matching rule for each setting, and lists them one per row, formatted as they are in the matrix. Rules that are not set are left blank. This is a rework of the earlier prototype: the API only filters on library, patron category and item type, so the card number, barcode and "patron's/item's library" inputs, which the API ignored and which made every result show "undefined", are removed. To test: 1. Go to Administration > Circulation and fine rules (admin/smart-rules.pl). 2. Confirm the "Circulation and fine rules test tool" button is shown below the rules matrix and that the tool itself is not displayed. 3. Click the button and confirm the tool is shown. 4. Click "Find" with the defaults and confirm the rules are listed with no "undefined" values. 5. Select a patron category and item type for which you have defined a specific rule in the matrix, then click "Find". Confirm the values match that rule, and that settings the rule does not define fall back to the more general rules, as described at the top of the page. 6. Select a library with no rules of its own and confirm the default rules are shown. 7. Set the UnseenRenewals, ArticleRequests and UseRecalls system preferences and confirm the matching rows are shown or hidden. 8. Click the button again and confirm the tool is hidden. 9.
