If the split proposed there is agreed, this bug would be repurposed to cover enforcing OpacHiddenItems and OpacHiddenItemsHidesRecord at search time on nested items (including an allowlist of the item fields a user-supplied limit may reference, so hiding rules cannot be overridden from the URL). It would depend on the same-item filters and facets work (bug 43151, itself repurposed), instead of the separate items index. Nothing changes here yet: the title and the existing patches are untouched until the split is agreed on bug 42835.
