http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=7974 Priority: P5 - low Change sponsored?: --- Bug ID: 7974 Assignee: colin.campbell@ptfs-europe.com Summary: can't create routing list in staff client QA Contact: koha.sekjal@gmail.com Severity: major Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: nengard@gmail.com Hardware: All Status: NEW Version: master Component: Serials Product: Koha When I'm in the staff client looking at a serial I see that there is a routing list and I can click to see who is subscribed, but can't add people to the list. I see no way anymore to add people from the staff client to the routing list and most libraries add people this way. See chat: [11:24] <nengard> i'm training on serials today and i don't see a way to add people to the routing list in 3.8 anymore … anyone know where that went? [11:24] <nengard> it used to be on the serial collection page [11:24] <nengard> i do see it under summary on the serial info page, but when I click it it doesn't let me add anyone it just says no one is on the routing list [11:28] * matts is now known as matts_away [11:32] * asaurat has quit (Quit: Leaving.) [11:33] <jcamins> Incidentally, I found out that Koha is guilty of not having any user-friendly Authority view on the OPAC either. [11:34] <jcamins> nengard: I'm not sure. I've wondered that, too. I thought I was misremembering, since I don't use routing lists much. [11:34] <nengard> no it used to be there [11:34] <nengard> and it's important that it's there [11:34] <nengard> most academic libraries create their own routing lists and i see no way to do that anymore [11:35] <nengard> i found it! [11:35] <jcamins> cait might know where it is. She uses that feature, too, so surely she would've noticed it vanishing. [11:35] <nengard> you have to subscribe in the OPAC [11:35] <nengard> that's not enough - we must be able to create them ourselves [11:36] <nengard> there is a link for patrons on this: cgi-bin/koha/opac-serial-issues.pl?biblionumber=33593 [11:36] <nengard> to subscribe [11:36] <nengard> and that's the routing list now [11:36] <nengard> which is not what routing lists are used for in most libraries I've been to [11:36] <nengard> also there was a routing list you could print out which is what we use [11:36] <nengard> any idea what patch did this??? [11:37] * wizzyrea has quit (Ping timeout: 480 seconds) [11:38] <jcamins> No, that's a different new feature. [11:38] <jcamins> cait had me test it just the other week. [11:38] <jcamins> That's a feature to enable patrons to subscribe to a notification in the OPAC. [11:38] <jcamins> Yeah, I think those are two completely different features. [11:38] <jcamins> I tested the patch that added the OPAC thing, but it didn't touch the staff client. [11:38] <jcamins> Ah-ha! [11:38] <jcamins> Found it. [11:38] <jcamins> Now how did I do that? [11:40] <jcamins> Okay, if I do a search I am able to add a routing list. [11:40] <jcamins> And then if I click through from the search, I'm able to click "Create routing list" on the left. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
