Took a look at this one too. I think the intended behaviour is that when you check the authorities checkbox, the list option is not offered as the lists can only contain bibliographic records. That does work ok when you start at the top, but when you've already switched to the list tab and then switch from bibliographic to authority, your conf remains visible. Maybe needs a little tweaking.
