Do we want white space considered? i.e. is it correct for 'Santabna' to sort before 'Santa clarita'?
It is not correct. The shorthand rule is "nothing before something." Therefore, "Santabna" should sort after "Santa Clarita." This is correct:
Santa Ana Santa Clarita Santa Claus Santabna Santana, Carlos
