Since system preferences cannot be modified from the OPAC, the interface displayed in the logs appears to be incorrect. To reproduce: 1- Change a system preference from the staff interface. 1- Go to Administration -> System preferences. 2- Search for a preference such as AcqCreateItem (any system preference will reproduce the issue). 3- Change the value of the preference. 4- Click Save all Acquisitions preferences (or save the preference). 2- Go to the log viewer: 1- Navigate to Tools -> Log viewer. 2- Fill the form as follows: Librarian: leave empty Modules: uncheck everything except System preferences Actions: keep All actions selected Object: leave empty Info: leave empty Interface: keep All interfaces Display from: choose yesterday Display to: leave empty 3- Click Submit. ==>The log entry shows the OPAC interface. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Before the patch: 1. If Plack is running, system preference changes show the staff interface as the interface. 2. If Plack is not running, as per the test plan, the OPAC is shown as the interface.
After the patch, if Plack is not running (as per the test plan) system preference changes now correctly show as the staff interface.
However, with the patch applied, and shutting KTD down and starting it up again, the initial system preference changes still show as the OPAC interface.
To reproduce in KTD: 1. Start up KTD. 2. Go to the log viewer (Tools > Additional tools > Log viewer) and click submit. 3. Hi, I believe the test plan describes a different issue The original bug concerns changes made via the Staff interface. The patch correctly fixes that: such changes are now logged as coming from the Staff interface even when Plack is disabled.
