some files in Koha have 'trailing whitespace' characters
'trailing whitespace' in files can often cause patches to not apply cleanly, thats bad :(
this bug is a general 'omnibus' bug, where many whitespace-fixing patches are to be attached (perhaps one patch per modified file?)
