Especially for larger public libraries or consortia, the number of emails triggered by this system preference could quickly become overwhelming but the appropriate staff may still want to be notified when these actions occur. I will hopefully solve one of our problems. The same notice is sent to the patron and to the circulation desk - so some staff members only read the mail and never closes suggestions in Koha, leaving us with a lot of unprocessed suggestions. This is about features that send notice to staff when a new suggestion/self registration is made. So you could already include specific instructions.
