For these libraries, making the notes available to the patron might be a problem. The problem here is that patrons are allowed to leave notes and then they don't see the notes they leave.

I don't misunderstand what the bug is about, I just contend that it wouldn't be appropriate to simply make the notes information public without accommodating libraries who may have been using the notes field--via the staff client--for information which they don't want the patron to see. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
