Not sure how to recreate it especially as it does not happen consistently. Sometimes the barcode reader does not send the information to the screen, but we get a "beep" anyway, which will probably make our student workers think that everything is ok, so the item will not get checked out (or in.) The original email stated: Sometimes upon checkout there is a beep and koha does not record the barcode (or koha may have even timed out). Is the beep from the reader or from koha? Is there any way to prevent (or change) the beep if data does not record, to warn our student workers to look at the screen and not just continue to check out?
