This is an issue that Ryan and I tried to investigate a while back. What is happening is staff patrons who are NOT "superlibrarians" but have the permission to add/modify borrowers are not allowed to modify or delete information in the new "borrower attribute type" fields added late in 3.0 but it appears to be only not working in Vista with either Firefox 3 or IE (Grace could never determine the version of IE that Teresa was running on Vista). I have tested with FF3 on mac os x and I can do it without being a superlibrarian (use Test Staff - LibLime patron / I can give you its login/pswd).
