It would be great if that same type of search bar could also be found in the public lists page (opac-shelves.pl?op=list&category=2). It should be helpful for any OPAC that has multiple pages of public lists to manage and go trough. It's a different story for tables which are paginated server-side. A search function which can search across all pages also has to happen server-side. As Katrin said, it makes sense to add a category on a list, the same way categories are used in the saved report page.
