[Bug 30241] New: Show description of fines in details of payment

This would be really helpful as for overdues this field contains the title of the record. Alternatively it might be nice to show the title directly using the itemnumber link in accountlines when present. I wonder if it just recently happened, as it is a real problem. When patrons pay for an item (fine or lost item), any write off gives the details on the item that had a write off, but a payment shows nothing at all about what item was paid for. The 5.00 could have been applied against multiple open fines and fees, even if it might not be the case here. Please click on the details button on the right - it should give you more information. In my opinion, the title of the item paid should be on both the overview of the accounting transaction and ALSO on the detail screen. As you'll see in this new attachment, there is also no title or barcode if you go to see further details. Why does it show the title and barcode when a write off happens, but not when a payment is made? That makes no sense at all, to me. Katrin, this was a test and it was specifically paid toward the same book as the write off, which does include the title. It should look the same for both a write off and for a payment and include both the barcode and the title on both the table and on the details.
