On the other hand, for "just News", the WYSIWYG editor is indeed helpful and it could be annoying to have to use the text editor. I can also see situations where a librarian wants to use WYSIWYG in the news and specifically wants to use text editor / codemirror for the HTML customizations. It would be nice to separate AdditionalContentsEditor into one syspref for the News and a different syspref for HTML customizations and pages.
