For instance, we have multiple volumes of graphic novels attached to the same bib record so we have AllowHoldsOnPatronsPossessions set to Allow. This setting should not be so generic. The nature of some bibs requires being able to place holds on items from the same bib you have items currently checked out, like periodicals and serials.
