Liebe Kollegin e-books sind an sich ein Problem :-) Es ist zu unterscheiden FINDEN Im OPAC sind die metadaten vorhanden a) das ein e-book existiert b) das die Institution eine Lizenz dafür hat ZUGREIFEN eine Authorisierungsinfrastruktur die regelt WER (Personengruppe der Institution mit Lizenz) die Ressource haben darf dies kann unterschiedlichst gelöst werden .... ICH habe einen nicht öffentlichen OPAC d.h. nur MEINE Leute sehen überhaupt das es das e-book gibt und es werden nur die erfasst bei denen wir auch eine Lizenz haben mit dem 856 link kommen sie dann zu der Resource und WENN sie an einem Bürorechner sitzen (IP range) -> Authentifizierung DANN können sie auch zugreifen Wie Mark angemerkt hat gibt es hier mehrere Szenarien (leider auch Anbieterspezifisch ...) d.h. zur Zeit ist die "externe" Version (z.B. EBSCO Discovery) bei unterschiedlichen Lizenzen noch die bequemste .... LG Hofrat Mag. Das Problem dabei ist, dass wir in 26 Ländern global Bibliotheken haben und viele unterschiedliche Sprachen, Modelle und Anbieter bearbeiten können müssen. Wie wäre eure Empfehlung hier vorzugehen? Beim letzten D-A-CH Treffen haben wir eine Lösung über plugins gesehen. Leider bin ich technisch nicht sehr versiert. PTFS Europe schreibt mir: This is a complex and multi-faceted issue. In terms of making ebooks available there are really two main options: - 1) Subscribe to a "Discovery" system like EBSCO EDS to provide both the access, authentication and subscription to the eBooks. 2) Load eBook MARC records into Koha (with an 856 link out to the resource). This will not handle the subscription nor the authentication though. Für eure Einschätzungen/Empfehlungen wäre ich sehr dankbar.
