That's what I was trying to do - to do the writing for the developers based on info I gathered by talking to them ... the problem with developer written documentation is that it does not instill a sense of understanding or comfort in non-developers who want to try and learn - hence having a librarian write a guide for those newbie developers.
Ohhh so a newbie guide is what you are planning? That is something that could stand alone, but I think the actual code documentation needs to live with the code. Chris
