http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=122 Summary: 1.2.3RC23: Default installer no longer works with non- Apache servers Product: Koha Version: 1.2.3 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: Installation AssignedTo: tonnesen@cmsd.bc.ca ReportedBy: a.c.li@ieee.org QAContact: koha-devel@lists.sourceforge.net The old (non-safe) installer.pl is no longer allowing the admin to install if it cannot find httpd.conf. This gives an impression that it only works with Apache, though "there is no reason it shouldn't work with any other webserver". This of course does not pose a difficult for admins who know perl or wants to do a manual installation, and the old installer.pl is probably going to be retired. But this perhaps should be noted. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
