You will almost certainly need to perform a dist-upgrade, or a manual 'apt-get install koha-common' to force the upgrade as there will have been a change in dependencies in the new version, and they won't be automatically installed without your approval.
Note that if you have had the -rc packages installed, you will need to force the install due to the version numbering not being quite what it should have been.
