Creating a patch and attaching it to the bug is what I recommend.
Someone sign-off/qa it as normal. b)I create a gzip with the .sql and I attach it to a bug in bugzilla, sign-off and qa only writting a comment
Please do this only if generating a patch doesn't work for you for whatever reason.
