You misunderstand me again. Does koha have facility to enter data in a way which remotely resembles real life, such as "Title", "Director", "Certificate" etc which is applicable to DVDs, or even something which approximates to English ("Author", "Publisher") for books? The owners of the DVD library I will be installing Koha for this week require to be able to enter relevant data. On 11/7/05, Rachel Hamilton-Williams <rachel@katipo.co.nz> wrote:
You will need to be a bit more specific about what you mean by "suitable". Libraries (particularly public libraries) already use
Koha
for DVD's and a range of media - including cataloguing websites etc as well.
I mean, can it be configured to catalogue such features as certificate, region, language, subtitles etc without the system wanting an ISBN for
them?
Yep sure - there is no requirement for an ISBN- it's not a required field
