Logos are usually trademarks, which is very different from copyrights. Either way, when a version is chosen, then some paper work ought to be done, though kept to a minimum. The images in the gallery look smooth, http://katipo.co.nz/gallery/album103 but text ought to be kept off of the actual logo in order to help with internationalization. Also, the wave is starting to look less wave-like and more egg-like.
