Nor can I, but i regulary get similar questions. Everybody with an existing library wants to keep his/her old barcodes and borrowercardnumbers. We truely should make this possible with a systempreference or something like that, where one can store the used formats (regexp?).
This has come up before, and is a great idea. Anyone want to step up to creating a modular barcoding system? -pate
