Heihei, I took a look today on how to translate koha, but I got quite soon confused and I have no idea how it should work. I took a look in "koha-2.2.0RC5/scripts/misc/translator" and the 'translator_doc.txt' file and tried to follow the steps there. I had no "tmpl_process.pl" so I used "tmpl_process3.pl", but got an error: ---- start ---- ./tmpl_process3.pl create -i /home/klaus/NFHS/datamaskiner/bibliotek/koha-2.2.0RC5/opac-html/opac-tmpl/default/en/ -s opac.de -r Can't locate Locale/PO.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/i486-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/i486-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at ./tmpl_process3.pl line 16. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./tmpl_process3.pl line 16. ---- end ---- Do I miss an extra perl module for this translation script, or what is the problem? What are the .po files used for in the translator directory? These opac.en/fr files look really hard to translate, especially because you cannot find where the strings are used to see it in the context. Also why is opac.zh_TW not a .po file like I think it should be, because it doesn't looks like opac.fr or opac.en or so on. *hmmmmm* What is the difference between 'css_opac_fr_FR.po' and 'po/css_opac_fr_FR.po'?!?! *hmmmmmmmm* It looks bit messy in this directory I think. *gg* Can someone help me to find my way trough it? THANKS!!!! Regards, Klaus -- take care! xo,klaus
