[Koha-devel] non-simple publication years?

Hi, I wonder if some other library places a non-simple value in the publication year field. Here we occasionally place things like "2000 [民89]" in the year of publication field (book lists date of publication in "Republic" date year 89, equivalent to A.D. 2000; we record both). biblio.copyrightdate is a smallint, which makes sense but won't exactly work in our case.
