I don't think that'd be an issue at all. Really, the barcode is sent as "B12345<enter>", so the length is determined by you (or the barcode scanner) sending an 'enter' keypress. So basically, I see no reason your scheme wouldn't work just fine. -- Robin Sheat Catalyst IT Ltd. ✆ +64 4 803 2204
