For example - instead of saying 'apply the patch' - I need someone to write up how to apply someone else's patch because we don't all know how to do that. Isn't it as simple as:
You apply someone patch to your local repo. You test it. If the patch is ok, you prepare a new one for it (git format-patch -s). -s = signoff Send the new patch as usual.
