MJ, do you fix things on arch only ? if yes, it means CVS rel_2_0 is out of date ? Is koha-dev or any other mailing list warned on each arch modification ? Another question : do you change anything on a template ? If yes, it means the french translation has to be improved. I'm OK to check & update the translation, but I need some explanations here. -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)

Yes and yes. I do not think I can stabilise rel_2_0 very easily. I am trying to monitor CVS for changes still, and may commit releases there, but I would prefer to pull arch sources.

No. I post changelogs to -devel when a new beta is posted, mostly.

Yes, but only markup so far. I changed the french ones accordingly. MJ says he "may" commit releases on CVS. How would potential users download the latest "bug-free" release? In other words, will the cleanest rel_2_0 be available through the download link on koha.org, or should I direct potential new users to some other site? Stephen

2.0.x releases will be uploaded to sourceforge. I hope 2.0.1 will appear there Wednesday (as I am doing final changes now). beta tarballs can be found from my development site http://www.ttllp.co.uk/koha/ but not really for end users rel_2_0 is mostly dead for development, so there's no point downloading it IMO. I can't prepare a release when anyone can mangle the files without warning, and when sourceforge vanishes so often. I don't know what koha.org will do: maybe its webmasters can tell us? MJR
Hi Guys I'm jumping in late here - but what's happening?

We usually link to the latest stable release, so if there a new one we should update that link.

Great stuff

2.0 is just bug fixing now isn't it? Or are you getting people tinkering with it?
I don't know what koha.org will do: maybe its webmasters can tell us?
Happy to - do about what? Sorry but I think I've missed something. We usually link through to sourceforge for downloads, but if that is being flakey we can go back to having copies on the koha site as well, it's just a bit slower I'd think for people overseas - but no problem doing that. We switched to using sourceforge because we thought it was better for people, if it's not, then we need some other alternatives. MJR do you have logins for the koha website to chuck stuff up yourself? If not, do you want them? Stephen questioning moving 2.0.x out of CVS, I think.

Yes. No (as they can't directly).

I think that was all that was asked. Thanks for the answer.

No and not just now, thanks. It might be useful when 2.0.1 is out, but I'm a bit busy and I don't want to tread on anyone's toes. -- MJR/slef My Opinion Only and not of any group I know http://www.ttllp.co.uk/ for creative copyleft computing Please email about: BT alternative for line rental+DSL; Education on SMEs+EU FP6; office filing that works fast
Hi all, I've got a Koha presentation at the OLC annual conference (http://www.heightslibrary.org/webmaster/olc_showcase/annual.php) and I'd like to put together a list of Koha features that folks are working on. I'll probably write up a brief synopsis of features similar to the one I did last time I presented on Koha (http://kados.org/LibraryScience/koha_at_a_glance.html). So if you're working on something exciting let me know and I'll include it. Other than that I'll be relying on release-notes, etc. Thanks, Joshua
