Hi, While we work on bugfixing for 3.0, it is also time to give a concrete thought or two for the future. Today I will start sending LibLime's RFCs for new features for 3.2. I have created a page for the RFCs on the wiki: http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=en:development:rfcs3.2 As many of the RFCs are lengthy, I will be mailing only the summaries; the details will be on the wiki page for each RFC. Sorry to seem unappreciative of good drafting and some initiative, but can these please be revisited after 3.0 is out? At least at TTLLP, we're up to our $body_part in $animals_or_liquid still, for various reasons, mostly involving portability of some sort. :-( Thanks, -- MJ Ray (slef) Webmaster for hire, statistician and online shop builder for a small worker cooperative http://www.ttllp.co.uk/ http://mjr.towers.org.uk/ (Notice http://mjr.towers.org.uk/email.html) tel:+44-844-4437-237 _______________________________________________ Koha-devel mailing list Koha-devel@lists.koha.org http://lists.koha.org/mailman/listinfo/koha-devel

Getting 3.0 out is the immediate concern, of course, and besides, I think a couple of the bigger 3.2 RFCs need time to percolate anyway. A necessary component of finishing 3.0 is formally deciding what features will NOT be a part of it, as documented by these RFC's. These do not represent an assignment of priority. --Joe Atzberger Systems Administrator, LibLime _______________________________________________ Koha-devel mailing list Koha-devel@lists.koha.org http://lists.koha.org/mailman/listinfo/koha-devel

We've 3.0 betas out there. Can we simply declare feature freeze now? (I thought this had already happened, hence why I've not even tried to send in new features... they'll appear on branches in our local repo.) Hi MJ, in fact, unless i'm mistaken, there are no new features since at least one month, maybe two. So we are "feature freeze" in facts, even if not in speak ;-) But I agree it would be good to officially declare it. Josh ?
