Hi Ivo,
I'm using "Koha Virtual Appliance 3.2 – Configured" and I'm trying to translate Koha to Portuguese (pt-PT).
But I get an error when I do "perl translate install pt-PT" under "/home/koha/koha-dev/misc/translator"
The error is: % s: Unknown or unsupported format specification
I do a little search and see a message saying that "% s" should be "%s", I edit .po file, replace and save it. But when I run the command again the error occurred again (it seem to be in other place).
It means that your .po file's syntax is invalid. Then it breaks the translation installation process. This can occur when .po files are translated by hand (not on Pootle). The person who edit .po files is in charge and has to verify that his files's syntax is valid. You have to track those kind of syntax errors and fix them all.
I try the .po files that came with Koha Virtual Appliance and with the recent translation files. The same occur.
Which version exactly? If you're a translator, you must NOT work on .po files coming with Koha but you must work on .po files available on: http://translate.koha-community.org And of course, working remotely, you have to coordinate your effort with other Portuguese translators. -- Frédéric DEMIANS Koha Translation Manager http://www.tamil.fr/u/fdemians.html
