I have a request to include bug 3013 in the 3.2.10 release. Since this is most likely the final release of the 3.2.x branch, I wanted to put it up for a "vote" on the translation list. It looks like it will require some translation work between now and the 15th if we include it. So, what say ye? Do we include it or not? http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=3013 Kind Regards, Chris Nighswonger Koha 3.2.x/3.4.x Release Maintainer

for me yes. It is an important feature for italian marc21 users. Bye Zeno -- Dott. Zeno Tajoli tajoliAT_SPAM_no_prendiATcilea.it fax +39 02 2135520 CILEA - Consorzio Interuniversitario http://www.cilea.it/disclaimer

Can you confirm that new strings related to this bug (& patch) is available for your language? It should since Pootle has been updated Monday. -- Frédéric DEMIANS http://www.tamil.fr/u/fdemians.html

now the strings for bug 3013 are not present in Italian. I need that Chris Nighswonger inserts the patch in 3.2.x git tree. After the commit I will update .po file and I will start translation. Ok, I've pushed this to 3.2.x. Kind Regards, Chris
Translation files for 3.2 have been updated and contain now new strings related to bug 3013. People interested in translating those strings should say how many days they need to achieve the job so Chris can eventually postpone 3.2.10 release. -- Frédéric DEMIANS http://www.tamil.fr/u/fdemians.html

Hi all, Could we get a consensus of how many days/weeks I need to delay the 3.2.10 release to accommodate the additional string translation? Kind Regards, Chris

I have done extra check on new translation for 3013. I confirm that the lines that this patch add to translate are only 10-15. Why so few ? Because 95% of the new strings are in the files ../cataloguing/value_builder/marc21_field_006.xml and ../cataloguing/value_builder/marc21_field_008.xml The translate tool ../misc/translator/translate doesn't work on .xml files. So in fact the translation for me is done because it is impossible to do. For me we can release 3.2.10 now. Bye Zeno Tajoli -- Dott. You should create a bug related to bug 3103. The way #3103 enhancement has been coded add an untranslatable functionality. It's surprising since it has been done be someone from Spain! I don't know what should be Koha community policy on that subject. Enhancement introducing untranslatable strings should be avoided. It had already happened in the past with the 'new' system preferences editor that added preferences descriptions which were untranslatable until someone (me) wrote a specific parser. -- Frédéric DEMIANS http://www.tamil.fr/u/fdemians.html
