In the translation page, is there any way to get rid of those names of people and companies which do not need to be translated? There are quite many of those names.

We can't currently get rid of them. You can left them untranslated or just copy them (that's what I do). There's a button (sort of, look for a '+' sign) for copy. Regards Bernardo
