Hi, ? We are system developers in The University of Arizona Library. We are carrying on a digital library project with Afghanistan Universities. We ran into a problem when using the translation (Persian ˇ§POˇ¨ file) . We successfully used tmpl_process3.pl to make Persian ˇ§tmplˇ¨ files, but the text became unrecognizable in Koha. Did anyone successfully make a ˇ§Persian Kohaˇ¨ ? Or is there anything we should notice to correctly use PO file in Koka translate, like how to download it, which encoding should be used, or the like. By the way, our koha is running in Linux Redhat enterprise. Any reply will be appreciated. ? Regards, -Gary ? No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Joshua, Yes, I got the same return as you did. " Copying ../koha/classic/koha/koha-tmpl/opac-tmpl/npl/en/images/trash.gif... Creating per/kohaerror.tmpl... Creating per/opac-ISBDdetail.tmpl... The reason , I guess, is that Persian is read from right to left. I tried to replace all "s%" into "%s" and it worked. All tmpl files were generated. But problem was still there, text in koha interface was still unrecognizable. I will look up the link you sent and try to find a solution. Thank you for the response. Please keep in touch. Hi Gary, OK, I tried switching all "%s" to "s%" and it seems to work fine now. Check out: opac.liblime.com and try switching to Persian. So what exactly is the issue you're facing?
