When an item is returned which has a reserve on it, a 'reserve found' message is
displayed along with a button to print a slip.  When the 'Print' button is
clicked the item *should* be set to 'waiting,' but it is not.

The problem seems to be that the item number is not getting passed to the form
which is submitted with the 'Print' button:
