Roger,

I am sorry that you have had such trouble, but 2.0 is still in the prerelease
stage.  There are many tricky parts to the installation, especially for those of
us using MARC21, and it cannot be recommended for the normal user yet.

I will work through your message later and try to break it into smaller bugs and
report them to the developers or fix them as appropriate.

I will leave this bug open, but assign it to me.  When I think it's worth you
trying again, I'll close this bug and you'll get another email.
