toins wrote this to respect french law.
the french law does not know independantBranches, so for me it's not a problem
not to respect IndependantBranches.
Maybe we can just add a warning on the screen "beware that this script works
for all branches of the library".

but maybe a better fix is needed for US or any other country.
(lowering priority, keeping severity)
