Volume info displays when pattern is selected.

Sending a patch for the functionality bug, including documentation for failed
attempt at fixing label display.  

Class "widelabel" added to relevant labels.  Both (very high priority) CSS and
jquery setting of width do not "take" in IE7. The background-color, however,
can be affected.  Go figure.
