You're correct. The 'update' process already do that. I will prepend it to the
install process.

I've got it already. I agree that calling a script from a script isn't
particularly awesome, but the template translation process is cryptic, and
will/may change with 3.4...

This a more general issue in Koha. i18n and L10n could be improved.
