That seems like the long away around (assuming there's a simple way to
get whatever generates these manual pages to do it in a different
way).

Crawling urls with query strings when the url has already been crawled
really is bad luck; it's definitely a defect in the manual generator.

(and I'm not totally stuck on using Google it's just easy and already exists)
