I've a few comments:
* about the interest of this agree it's a major improvement
* if you run it in production, and are not the author of the patch, you
can change the statut so "signed-off". And I tend to say using it in
production is a good proof it works. Then, QA would be made, and I can
promize i'll take care of QA as quickly as possible, this feature is a
must, I agree.
* This bug, as all bugs with a lot of comment has a problem: how to test
it ? There are patch attached, branches. There is a new dependancy
(comment 5). It's very complicated to understand how to test. We must
address this problem for this bug, and, ideally, find a re-usable way to
do so. I'll start a thread about that in a few minuts, in the meantime,
please just add a comment explaining everything.
