some months ago i did successfully manage to install Koha on OSX 10.7.5, using macports for apache, mysql perl and zebra
so its possible!, but also quite fiddly… :/

i don't recall seeing any 'Koha on OSX' install guides on the web, either


as others have said... do a debian 'packages' install of Koha for you first attempt :)
