The ElasticSearch implementation in Koha, sponsored by EBSCO, is making progress. The initial coding has been completed and the project is now in testing. A basic browse feature has been added and layout and design are being completed. For the browse, the aim is to have classic browse functionality that is enriched with new features such as autocomplete and eventually links to authority records and outside repositories. Authentication via RESTapi continues to be developed and we further hope that ElasticSearch will consider training the Koha developer community to further enhance ElasticSearch functionality and ongoing development. - by Sebastian Hierl (https://www.facebook.com/KohaGruppoItaliano)

     - Please include dates for past events. If I can't find dates I may not add it.
     - Announcements for future events with dates T.B.A. are fine ...Eg., Kohacon
     - For past events -- **** one month back is the cut-off  ***.

* News items can be of any length.
* Images are fine
* Anything and everything Koha.
* Submit by the 26th of the month.

If you are working on an interesting project or development related to Koha, please let me know and I'll include it in the development section.
