Sorry, looking back at the history of this issue I guess it's a little
inaccurate to blame the translation script. Here's what Josh said the
last time the issue came up:

"It's very possible I'm wrong, but I think the problem is not with the
translation script, but with unix's 'gettext' utility ... I'm guessing
we don't have the resources to fix that."

...and Paul verified.

It's been a while since I ran the translation script myself, though,
so I'm not sure how the error manifests.
