You know... You're absolutely right! In fact, *I* have been misled by
the "Series Title" label for the 225 tag and I wrongly thought that it
referred to Periodical / Journal titles.

I found out that the Portuguese version of the UNIMARC specification
*does* use the word "Colecção" ("Collection") for that same 225 tag:

Unimarc, Bibliográfico, 1, português, 225 Colecção
http://www.unimarc.info/bibliographic/1/pt/225

To check this, I have been browsing the catalog for the "Biblioteca
Nacional de Portugal" (National Library of Portugal) -
http://porbase.bnportugal.pt/

And, like you said, for a "regular" Collection ( like "Cliffs Notes" -
http://www.cliffsnotes.com ), namely the Portuguese version of "Cliffs
Notes" called "Apontamentos Europa-América", the tag 225 is used:

Some fields of that record (in 225 $a we have the name of the Collection):

------------------------------

675:

In that same catalog, for (Academic) Journals, the 530 tag - "Key
Title (Serials)" is being used instead:

Unimarc, Bibliographic, 2.3, English, 530 Key Title (Serials)
http://www.unimarc.info/bibliographic/2.3/en/530

Here's the record for "Análise Social" ("Social Analysis") -
http://analisesocial.ics.ul.pt/?no=5510002 - that is a Portuguese
academic journal:

Periodical / Journal, that is "Análise Social"):

To sum things up, I agree with you and your patch, Henri! The name
"Collection" is appropriate for the 225 tag and, in fact, the
Portuguese translation of the UNIMARC spec uses that name.

Thanks for your time and explanation.

Cheers,
Ricardo
