The possible scriptcodes for japanese are
Latn: Romaji "nihongo"
Hira: Hiragana "にほんご"
Kana: Katakana　"ニホンゴ"
Hani: Kanji　"日本語"
Hrkt: Hiragana+Katakana
Jpan: Hiragana+Katakana+Kanji

most common is Jpan, I think Japn is a typing error.
