Ivan has already recoded it without sessions in our codebase. But before pushing that change, we'll be waiting for Tomas' instructions regarding the svc/

I'll mostly leave it to Tomas, but it might be worth looking over https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Rest_Api_HowTo Basically, the "svc/" API scripts are legacy, so we don't want to be adding new ones.
