There are a few problems I came across on these steps:
Step 18 should make the renewal link disappear regardless of NotifyBorrowerDeparture.
Yes it should, I've amended this
Step 37 requires a refresh for the new message to show up.
No refresh is required for me - the message displays directly in the modal when "No" is pressed
Step 46 is not recorded in patron record or modifications anywhere.
There isn't anything to store for these verification checks, they are simply for the library to be able to preempt the user with any questions that may cause issues with their renewal and then follow-up with the customised error message with further instructions.
