I think I like that suggestion, warn that those fields will be dropped, but continue with the import.
We could later add a general 'other fields' catch somewhere to allow importing those too, but I'm not sure how they'd actually ever get surfaced/used.. they could be anything so it'll be difficult to use them in standard reports.
I think it would require some mapping, but could be potentially be very interesting for matching catalog records to ERM titles later on. ZDB-ID = national serial database identifier (that's one of ours) and ppn = PICA production number, I assume ABES union catalog record ID (?).
