Column can be used to indicate e.g. if item has some other more specific location than permanent location. Also new authorised value SUBLOC is added automatically. Sublocation column is added to biblio holdings table, patrons checkouts and returns tables and to biblios detail table in OPAC (hidden by default). To test adding sublocation to item: 1) Add new 952 subfield e.g. S to default MARC framework and link new authorized value "SUBLOC" to it. 2) Link subfield to items.sub_location field in "Koha to MARC mapping" (add 952,S). 3) Find a record and attempt to add new item to it. => Note that new subfield S is now displayed on item form and dropdown selector contains values added to "SUBLOC". => Saving should be successfull. => After saving confirm that sublocation is displayed in its own column in items listing above item form and that sublocation is displayed with correct description. 4) Navigate to biblios Detail page. => Confirm that subloaction is displayed on its own column. => Confirm you can hide column either from Columns settings or from Table settings page. 5) Attempt to modify item. => Confirm that sublocation is displayed and it's correct. 6) Attempt to delete item. => Deleting should be successfull. To test patrons checkouts and returns pages: 1) Check out item with sublocation to a patron. => Confirm that sublocation is displayed correctly on patrons check outs table. => Confirm you can hide column either from Columns settings or from Table settings page. 2) Check in item. => Confirm that sublocation is displayed correctly on patrons check ins table. => Confirm you can hide column either from Columns settings or from Table settings page. To test OPAC: 1) Set systepreference OpacLocationOnDetail as "below both home and holding libraries". 2) Navigate to biblios detail page in OPAC. => Confirm that subloaction is displayed below home and holding libraries. 3) Test both library options for systepreference OpacLocationOnDetail. => Confirm that sublocation is displayed correctly either in "Current library" or "Home library" column. 4) Set systepreference OpacLocationOnDetail as "on a separate column". 5) Navigate to Administration->Table settings. 6) From OPAC section find settings for page biblio-detail, table holdingst and uncheck checkbox "Is hidden by default" for columns "item_shelving_location" and "item_sublocation". 7) Check biblios detail page in OPAC. => Confirm that both shelving location and sublocation are displayed in their own columns.
