There is an additional description that is English by default and can be translated via the installer files. But when we add new system internal debit types/credit types that are added via the database updates, the library has no means to translate them as well and they will be a mix of languages. For instance, if a library applies a refund to a manually invoiced charged that is not a fine, the description for REFUND (A refund applied to a patrons fine) won't be accurate. I think i would not have the effect you expect: the description from the database are basically only used for reporting.
